racheal sent this note to the groups email address Hi I'm coming to definitly coming to Derby on friday for the 'divine' event at Curzons I will probably try a couple of the gay pubs in the area, which ones would you reccommend or advise me to avoid. I'm going to be staying at the Heitage hotel in Macklin St, and as it is near to the Duke of York I would plan a future trip to come to reflections probably on 13th october . As I work shifts and have different days of on certain weeks I plan all my nights out as Rachel in different places according to my roster and the events calender. As you know I get to outskirts about every 6-8 weeks I also go to Leeds on the first friday of each month using leave days and aso go to Manchester Concord every 3 weeks when I have a wednesday and thursday off. This week I'm trying some new places on thursday night I'm going to Worcester for the saucey girls event and on friday it will be my first time out in Derby I don't know what to expect its always a bit exciting trying somewhere new.

Sorry folks, I was fully intending to be at tonights meeting. Even bought a new dress for the occasion!!! Unfortunately something has cropped up and it looks like I'll be unable to attend.

Not as many there as I'd expected. Only stayed a couple of hours as it was not all that much fun. Chatted to a couple of nice 'girls', one from Nottingham...one from Surrey. Came back and finished the night in the Union.

Hi all,enjoyed our first trip to the duke,will try and get to the next one but no guarantees as i may end up working.Let me know if we get the use of the dis bog and i will arrange a day on a fit out for the gurlz to use.xxx

hi everyone, We have finallised agreement with the management for the sole use( nearly) of the disabled toilet to convert it to a dressing room for our use. The room will remain locked when not in our use or the use of disabled people and the key will remain behind te bar. This means we can produce a really special place for te girls to change and use a nice clean loo. We need donations of the following items if poss and in the mean time i will go on the scrounge. Some form of dressing table, sets of coat hangers, a nice chair for te dressing table, a mirror for makeup. We will also need pink paint, cream paint and silver if we can. I would like to make this special for us to make ours evenings even better. I can do most of the work and Julie is an electrician. Anyone else that wishes to help would be most welcome!

Julie and I spent thursday 19th working at the Duke of York. We now have the beginnings of our very own changing facilities. Thanks to Julie we have a free standing mirror, and a work top where we can apply makeup. She also wired in new frorescent main light and some dressing table lights over the wall mirror. I paid for the florecent light and the wall mirror and also repaired the door so it now closes properly. Julie paid for the standing mirror and donated a day of her time as an electrician. I spent about £40 which I cannot afford so hope that everyone puts something into a pot! Next I will paint and decorate the room with paint supplied by Derby Friend. I have also cleaned the room and hope that everyone who uses it will keep it clean and tidy. The end result will be a nice place to make up and where we can leave coats and bags whilst we relax. We also have a clean spacious loo!!!

Hi,i think gillian has said it all really.the change room is now well on the way,and mary(my soulmate)and i donated time and goods in order that those who are less fortunate at being able to change at home can now have somewhere to take their time to put on the glams and become en femme.we hope people will look after these facilities and not spoil it for others.i will hopefully be there for the next meeting,see you therexx julia marie sparks.

wait no longer!!! heehee Now in the gallery. Remember girls I will not be there on Monday, as am being forced to be in Spain!!! Don't drown and I will see you at the next one. We are having a bit of a Christmas do on the second meeting in December, 14th I think. Just a few nibbles but bring your own party hat!! We are using the room upstairs and will also hopefully unveil our powder room in all its glory!!!

Busy fitting our new kitchen....nails now look like shit!!!!

Just back from a week on the Costa Del Sol - who should I bump into (almost literally on the moving walkway! lol) at Malaga Airport, only Gillian and Jayne!!! A fabulous surprise. Had a really good week and some fabulous shopping opportunities. Reflections on Tour!!! :)

Hi Girls, back now with a new arsenal of hosiery!! I did not but any clothes this time but this was made up for by Debs buying enough for both of us. However most of these were "sensible" so would be no use to me heehee. Debs goes full time from January and I would like to say on behalf of all the group that we wish you all the best and are there for you. If I had known she was there I would have taken Gillian with me lololol.
